You go to the gym to stay healthy, not just to recover. Counselling can work the same way.

Therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis. It can also give you space to reflect, understand yourself and address everyday challenges before they become more difficult.

  • Overthinking decisions or conversations
  • Feeling stressed or emotionally drained
  • Finding it difficult to set boundaries
  • Repeating the same arguments
  • Adjusting to changes in work or relationships
  • Feeling stuck without knowing why

If any of this feels familiar, we can work through it together.

Why Collective Counselling?

We believe everyone deserves a supportive, respectful and non-judgemental space to work through their problems. We offer:

  • Convenient online sessions at flexible times

  • A place where you feel genuinely understood

  • Personalised sessions involving a range of approaches to suit your needs

I am a caring and compassionate counsellor and life coach with a passion for helping both individuals and couples navigate through their problems and become the best version of themselves. Whether you are currently going through a tough time, or you simply want to maintain good general wellbeing and personal progress, I'd be happy to support you.

Jack, online counsellor at Collective Counselling

Jack

I have always had a strong interest in helping people feel comfortable, supported, and understood. Over the years, I've built valuable skills in connecting with people through conversation and creating a warm, relaxed space for them to be themselves. My goal is to offer a supportive, non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their feelings and experiences openly.

Questions, answered

How does online counselling work?

Sessions take place over a private video call, so you can talk with us from wherever you feel most comfortable. It works much like meeting in person, with the same warmth, attention and care, just without the journey.

What happens during the first session?

The first session is really just a chance for us to meet and get to know one another. We’ll talk gently about what’s brought you here, and there’s no pressure to share more than you feel ready to.

How do I choose between Sherry and Jack?

It often comes down to who you feel most drawn to. If you’re not sure, just send us a general enquiry and we’ll help you find the right fit, and it’s absolutely fine to change your mind later.

Can I book from outside the UK?

Often, yes. Sessions are held online by private video, so you’re welcome to join from wherever you are, as long as we can speak in English. Suitability and availability can depend on your location and circumstances, so if you’re unsure, just ask before booking. Session times are shown in UK time and fees are charged in pounds sterling.

Is online counselling confidential?

What you share is treated confidentially, with a small number of important exceptions relating to safety, safeguarding and legal obligations. We’d always aim to talk these through with you, and the limits of confidentiality are explained before or during your first session.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out
